Did you know astaxanthin comes from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis? Haematococcus pluvialis creates astaxanthin to protect itself from stressful environmental conditions, and that's what it does for dogs, too.
Once this microalga has reached maturity, it is harvested, crushed and dried. The result is a deep-red powder of high purity, containing a high concentration of astaxanthin (it's what gives salmon its pinkish color).
The key benefits of this powerful antioxidant are increased strength, endurance, and an increase in the production of antibody producing cells.
Haematococcus pluvialis is the richest source of astaxanthin, and now available through us.
