Normally, in early fall training, Paul starts out with 1-2 mile runs. We have found this season – instead of just our normal routine of providing fresh, cold water to each dog when they return from their run – that Paul has been able to jump up the mileage to double his normal amount. DIRECTIONS FOR HYDROLYTE USE: Reconstitute the contents of this package with one quart of water. One-half hour prior to exercise give 1 oz. reconstituted fluid for every 5 lbs. body weight. Immediately after exercise give 1 oz. reconstituted fluid for every 5 lbs. of body weight. After recovery (a good way to judge recovery is when your dog is no longer panting and has returned to normal activity) give 1 oz. reconstituted fluid for every 3 lbs. of body weight. Do not let your pet drink any fluid free choice after exercise as it may lead to vomiting or more serious gastro- intestinal disorders such as bloat. In heat, cold or other passive stresses: Give 2-3 oz. per 5 lbs. body weight per day. One dose should be divided into two or three offerings and can be doubled under extreme conditions.

INGREDIENTS: Natural chicken flavor, dextrose, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, sodium citrate, sodium phosphate, calcium citrate, magnesium aspartate, Vitamin E and zinc aspartate.
