Does your food work for sensitive stomachs?
Posted on 01.25.11 | Ask Dr. Tim
I have a 3 year old cocker spaniel which gets bad gas on certain dog foods. I always buy quality dog food. Currently I am feeding her NutriLife Holistic Nutrition(all gold). This food is working out better than most, but she is a little gassy. Our pet store just started selling your product, and I was curious if it would work for my pet. Any suggestions?
I find there are many different factors that can lead to a sensitive stomach with a dog and a particular dog food. The fiber types and amounts, the digestibility of the starches, protein types and the particulate grind size all play a part in sensitivities of the gastrointestinal tract. And improve the need to open the window when the dog is riding in your car. I would try the Kinesis and see if it helps out your cocker. Please let me know how it works for you and your pooch.
